This is a lovely hotel, kept up very well. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only problem I had is that I didn't find the mattress too comfortable and I kept waking up during the night. It was a little too hard for my taste. I didn't think I got a good a value for my money either. In the last 2 months I've stayed at 2 separate Fairfield Inn's, a Ramada Inn and 1 Holiday Inn Express. The 2 Fairfield Inn's cost less but the rooms were spacier as also was the case with the Ramada Inn. All the Hotels were lovely establishments. Neat, clean, smelled good, good service. The nice thing about this hotel is that if you don't like the pillow on your bed, you can change it for a more comfortable one. I didn't find that out until after I'd slept on them and found them uncomfortable. Also, they are small pillows. I will probably be back next year and I'm already planning on staying at the Holiday Inn - Terre Haute because I've been to several hotels in the area and I've liked this one the best. I'll just bring my own pillows and then maybe the mattress won't bother me so much. I had breakfast in the hotel and it was very good. If you have children who like to swim, the pool and its surrounding areas are beautiful. This is a lovely hotel for a family weekend.

Nice big room. Bed was a little uncomfortable. This is a great place to stay if you are visiting Terre Haute.

"This hotel just was so overpriced and small rooms, Also no free breakfest and rooms had glass walls not enough privacy. Was not impressed at all."

"Most rooms are in an outbuilding (old motel type), unheated hallways. Way overpriced for what amounts to a motel with a large fancy lobby, little else. No free breakfast like every other place in town + rooms could be cleaner."

Staff was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about area. They have two restaurants - one upscale and one more family oriented. Would have liked it if the casual restaurant would have been open for dinner (it's only open for breakfast and lunch); but since we knew this before arriving, we opted to stop at a local Bob Evans for dinner before checking in at the hotel. We did have breakfast in the casual dining room before checking out the following morning. Food was very good, large variety on the buffet (lots of fresh fruit was especially appreciated) and wait staff was very friendly. Excellent value, since kids eat free. Entire breakfast check for our party of four was under $20.00. Room was very clean - had more than adequate blankets, toiletries, ect. Pool area was very clean and it was nice they had stacks of pool towels placed all around pool area on small tables. Very comfortable lobby area - large screen TV, free coffee and comfy couches. Overall, I would highly recommend this location. We look forward to staying there again next year.

I found the hotel to be very clean and very well updated. The staff is one of the most accomadating staff I have ever seen.

I wanted our stay to be as comfortable as possible because we were looking at a local college and I wanted my son to have a positive vision of this area. The hotel lobby was a good impression. In my opinion; however, this hotel struck me as a converted motor inn that had been updated. I have never liked having rooms surrounding an indoor pool. It has always seemed too cavernous and not very private. The exterior rooms where we stayed were not at all private as we walked the corridor eye level with all the rooms. If you don't close the curtains, you have no privacy. Therefor you have to keep a dark room. The rooms themselves were fine. They were clean and had an appropriate comfort level. The bathrooms were nicely updated and clean. I found the employees to be very friendly and met our needs. Everything was very smooth and pleasant with any encounter that we had with the employees. The hotel was high end of average in terms of the property itself. I would stay there again but it will not be my best experience with this hotel chain I am sure.

The Holiday Inn, Terre Haute was very clean, and very fast check-in. They were great help at the front desk providing us with information on places to go eat. I liked the extra seating in the room, and we really enjoyed being able to rent movies on the television there that are still in theatres.

It is close to all attractions in area. Some noise from the highway. The hotel and staff are very nice. As with some of the Holiday Inns they are getting older, but this one is still well kept.

Clean. Convenient. Rather noisy. Thought it could be less expensive. Just felt for the cost that we should have stayed somewhere with fewer amenities - so we felt we kind of wasted our money. Hate to waste a good swimming pool!

Newly renovated room. The food was mediocre at best. Clean, attractive rooms with refrigerators and coffee makers in the rooms. The rooms were quiet and the hallways clean and well lighted. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Great value from Priceline. Rooms need some remodeling. The hotel has been there a long time. Everything was fine with the stay - would recommend some room upgrades.
