Greeted by very friendly staff, received a very large room by the river which was requested. Free shuttle took me where ever I needed to go besides the airport. Nice breakfast - good sausage gravy. Beautiful lobby. Next to the casinos and 4 restaurants. Great for the business traveler or tourists. Single or family.

room either very hot or very cold BAD water pressure pool overcrowded 5 young teenage girls singing at the top of their lungs in the jacuzzi without parental supervision on a positive note...it was connected to the casino hotel which was much nicer and had good food but overall....save your money

Comfortable, clean and great location. There was not much I didn't like. Friendly staff; clean and comfortable rooms. Free local shuttle. Close to the casino and local attractions.

we had a wonderful time and the holiday inn was terrific. when we arrived, we asked for a specific floor and view and got it!! The service was superb and the free breakfast was way more than just a continental breakfast. thank you for the great price and great stay

Good location. Breakfast needs broader selection. Good hotel, we enjoyed the stay, ate breakfast at a different place however, clean and orderly, quiet, staff is good; we would stay again and would recommend it to others.

A friend of mine, in this country on business from Portugal, stayed at this hotel last weekend. While he slept in the other room someone entered his room and stole his laptop, money, and other valuables. There was no sign of forced entry so an electronic key was probably used. In spite of that the hotel took no responseability for his loss. He was left with no money and no business tools. A sad way to treat a guest, particularly one from another country. Travelers be aware of this incident when booking this hotel.

Very friendly, and very clean. The TV was old and the color was bad, other wise our stay was awesome. We had a great stay. We enjoyed it very much. We will definitely stay again.

On 2/3/08 a close friend of mine from another country was robbed in his room as he slept. A computer, his wallet and watch were taken. The lock was electronic and there was no forcible entry so this is clearly a huge hotel security issue ...furthermore...the electronic lock system has been compromised since he was IN his room and has a room service receipt to prove it, when the system shows he did not get in till later. Despite this, and despite the fact that he is a visitor to our country, the hotel management offered no help, implied that he might be at fault and would not even help check dumpsters for discarded personal info/items. Accuracy of this may be checked with Council Bluffs Police dept. who were most helpful. The lack of security and attitude of management should make one pause before considering this hotel.

The beds were comfortable. The hotel decor was very nice. Awesome flat screen TV. Great breakfast. I loved everything. It was wonderful.

Nice sheets. Lots of things were run down. The hotel was okay but nothing spectacular. They were doing remodeling and there were a lot of dents in scratches. The ice machine on my floor was out of order. On one day of our stay we didn't receive any housekeeping until 4:00. The breakfast was decent but again nothing spectacular. The girl working the breakfast worked very hard.

Convenient location to children and attractions. We have stayed here alot this past year due to children's activities and convenience to location of events. We like the closeness to casino, good food and nice pool accommodations.

The activities. No fridge or microwave in room. Overall a good hotel.

The con. Breakfast was very filing. The pool closed too early. Overall our experience was wonderful; if we return to Nebraska/Iowa we will stay here again.

We got the nicest hotel room available and it was really nice. For the cost of the room I would have expected valet parking and a better breakfast. The hotel room that we got was really nice. We only stayed one night just to get away. We paid for what we got. The continental breakfast was not good. We had to stand by a microwave and warm up our food. In comparison to the room it was extremely disappointing. Overall would consider doing again but at a better price.

Swimming, buffet. No refrigerator or micro in every room. Had a great stay, good view of the river, friendly service.

Hotel is nice and clean and modern. Really nothing to dislike. Really nice hotel. Staff was courteous. It was neat that the hotel was attached to the ameristar casino so you could go eat and gamble and just walk back to you're room. If I go back to Omaha this is where I'm staying.
