The Holliday Inn was the usual Holiday Inn. And it was undergoing renovations. Not a Problem. But when the first day we had to ask for towels and to have the room cleaned we were a bit miffed. We had to get our own towels and coffee, When the second day was over, the same thing happened except the beds were made this time. There was a third incident a day or two later. Granted it was a Holiday weekend but the hotel was practically empty and we should not have to ask for maid service. Disappointed to the least

Free internet. No heavy drapes on windows letting parking lot lights in all night.

This hotel is fully renovated and full of great amenities. The staff is exceptional, always ready to help and give advice on where to eat or shop. The check in experience was outstanding, it was like I was an old friend in for a visit. They certianly have Southern Hospitality down. There is no doubt that I would return to this Holiday Inn Express when traveling back through the area.

because of bad past reviews. The rennovations were complete and the staff was great. None of the problems stated in the past reviews. The rooms were nice and the breakfast was great with hot foods daily. The owner was present throughout the day and the bedding was very nice. Rooms were clean and any requests were seen to in a very prompt manner. One of our relatives had a problem withtheir rate - but it appeared to be the holiday inn corporate online that sent the wrong rate information - none of the other 12 of us had any issues whatsoever.

Comfortable pillows, bathroom. People talking loudly in early morning hours in hallway. Really enjoyed having a selection of firm or soft pillows, don't get that often. Spacious bathrooms were nice amenity. Beds were more comfortable than most hotels. Will inspire others to stay when in the area.

This hotel is fully remolded, with great amenities. The staff is very friendly and quick to help in finding a meal or just giving directions. The manager is always present to answer questions or handle any issues that should arise. The breakfast is all it is described to be and more. This place is great.

We paid extra for suite w/ fireplace, jacuzzi, private balcony & full size couch w/pull out queen bed. Dirty,unclean...hair in bathtub, hair swept in corner of bathrm-behind door. Coffee pot had 1/2 inch of old coffee w/MOLD growing on top. Room had only been spot vacumed-corners & areas between bed & nightstands were dusty, paper pieces & a TOE-NAIL!!! Pull out bed was broken-front desk did nothing about it. Our one night stay was such a nightmare that we took pictures because everything that went wrong was unbelievable. I brought the coffee pot to front desk-no apology. They said they'd bring up another. 2nd pot was broken, 3rd pot was dirty w/USED COFFEE FILTER in it. Finally the 4th coffee pot was ok (this was at 1:30 am). Never did the girl who brought up the 3 additional pots apologize. I don't think the word "SORRY" is in their vocabulary. At check-out, the manager refused to refund any money. I argued w/ her, pointing out their "Hospitality Promise" but I don't think she knew about that! Only when I called the HI Guest Services number did she offer me a refund-keeping *. The rest of our trip was NOT at HI Exp. I wish I had read the previous 2 reviews prior to our stay, I would have avoided an experience I never thought could happen. Sleeping in our car w/ our children would have been 100% better than this dirty place

Convenient location, cleans and nice linens. Smelled like cigarette smoke. We were just stopping for the night and found the accommodations very nice for the 2 star rating we left at 6am and breakfast was already out and we found some healthy choices yogurt and fruit.

This hotel is conveniently located right off exit. The staff is very friendly and greeted me at the door. I called ahead to let them know I was coming in late and I felt as if they knew me personally! The rooms are very nice sized, clean and newly furnished. The nights stay was very peaceful and the morning paper at the door was a nice touch. The breakfast is unreal. Hot food with waffles, gravy, sausage and the best Cinnamon rolls I have ever had. Express check out service was awesome and I definitely will stay again if in the area.

The staff of the hotel was very nice and informative. They were all very eager to help all the guest. Even though the hotel is undergoing renovations the rooms were very comfortable.

The facility is well-kept and maintained. Mattresses too firm and common areas not air-conditioned enough. This hotel is a good value for the money based on the accommodations that you receive. Convenient to West Knoxville and right off the interstate.

We stayed at this hotel and the billboard on the way in to town says this hotel has new linens-it does not, has old outdated bedding. Beds were outdated and room doors banged/rattled all night. In process of being remodeled! Not enough towels for # of occupants on either night. Problems with bathroom drains reported that were not resolved nor did they care about my dissatisfaction on checkout-drains clogged. Not up to par with other HIE's we have stayed at."

Convenient location, breakfast. Uncomfortable pillows and odor near elevator. For a short stay where you do not need to be in the hotel for long periods of time, it's very suitable. For the price and type of hotel, it meets its purpose.

At the time of our stay, the hotel is advertised to have the 'new bedding collection' however, their bedding is very outdated. In process of renovating and VERY noisy wich you don't find out about till check in. Shower didn't drain and reported it but never fixed! Stay elsewhere.

Pool and hot tub well maintained. I did not like much anything else. This hotel was very disappointing especially for the money paid. The room needed to be updated: broken headboard, wallpaper falling down, old uncomfortable mattresses, flat wore out pillows, cigarette burns in all of the bedding, tore shower curtain liner (was hanging by one hook), shower head and pressure was not adequate to get a decent shower, toilet inadequate water pressure, telephone broken and filthy telephone. Overall this as the worst hotel stay I have had in quite sometime, even more disappointing was the money I paid for this disaster.
