I was in town for a funeral. The hotel is conviently located for access. The hotel is off the traveled way which gives it a quiet atmosphere.

My husband and I were traveling to Charolette, NC and our first night was in South Hill.I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling this way. It was quite, very clean, and the staff was friendly and professional.

I liked the bed, it was very clean and very comfortable. The room was not up to standard and neither was the breakfast. The breakfast was very pathetic, should be considered a continental breakfast in my opinion. Everything in my room including the furniture and the floor was covered in a tacky sticky film from cleaner I presume, the bathroom definitely fails, there was brown rusty water coming out of the shower. The bathroom sink faucet was in backwards and the temperature of the water was unbearable. Turn on the cold water and you receive scalding hot water every time.

My wife and I were traveling and stopped without reservations. The evening clerk was exceptionally helpful. The room was wonderful. very nice bed and comforter. An excellent nights sleep and the breakfast was sufficient.

Very nice and clean. Need more nonsmoking rooms. Overall it was a short stay. I had a wedding to attend so I asked for a late checkout but the maximum amount of people checking out late had already been reached. Don't understand why I could not just have one extra hour. They were not very understanding. The wedding wasn't until 1:30 and I had to be out by 11 am. Wandering South Hill in wedding gear was not fun.

My daughter and I enjoyed having an outdoor pool. The brunch was very good but it was so crowded that it was hard to get ones food. Good location in South Hill. Nice to stay at if traveling with kids because of the nice outdoor pool. Excellent complementary breakfast.

Beautiful lobby andtastefully classy. The pool was closed because it was the week after Labor Day - but it was 95 degrees still.
