I have just got back from a 2 week stay. Location is excellent, the staff were great - very friendly and helpful, yes the hotel has been "done up" and looks all the better for it. Just toast and cornflakes for breakfast for westerners which is a shame, but for that price I would happily stay again.

Evergreen hotel, Woo Sung rd, Kowloon, Hong KongVery friendly and helpful staff. All spoke English at a satisfactory level. Room was small but clean and manageable. Excellent position just a short distance from the main bus stops on Nathan Street or the underground rail on Jordan Street. Internet room with free access to internet on three computers was a delight. Breakfast buffet was basic but enough choice available to keep you going through to a late lunch. Only criticism would be that you can't access room until 2.00pm. However, they do take in your luggage to allow you to go explore and come back later. Excellent restaurant next door for quick lunch or evening meal. Perfect place for a Chinese/Hong Kong experience.

I booked the Evergreen because of it's central location which proved a good choice as I could walk to the parts of Kowloon that were interesting to me. The staff were very obliging and courteous. The room, although not large by other city's standards, was typical for Hong Kong and satisfactory. I would stay again in this hotel when I next visit Hong Kong.

Ideal central hotel for transitImmaculately clean, small rooms but with every amenity required for short stay visitors internet a great bonus. Central location with near access to all transport 21 bus service from outside airport terminal takes you to within walking distance of the hotel for 33h.k,$

Room is small as expected in H.Kong & considering a budget hotel. However, it is conveniently located near temple street, Jordan MTR, shops, 7-11(next to it) & dai pai dong. Worth revisit if one is looking for suitable location and not luxury hotel.

I was in HK for a 2-day work trip on own expense & the hotel was just nice for my needs. Small room but fine for 1 person: desk, tv, good lighting, comfortable bed, clean bathrm, mini bar, free internet which is also avail in the computer room. Staff very polite & helpful. Even helped me print out my report when I had problems. Close to everything. Good experience.

-:Good Location as it's just a street cross to temple street where we are able to get some local taste and just a few street down the road is the MTR station Jordan. -: The room that i booked is OK as only two of us,don't expect to have big room in mind for this price as Hong Kong hotel rate is known(don't come cheap). -: the hotel staff is friendly and helpful. hope they will always keep that up. All in All for my stay in this hotel is that,location OK,Room OK. final words is what you pay is what you get.

The breakfast included was local in origin as opposed to european / western. There was toast and marmalade for those that don't want noodles for breakfast. The room was small but comfortable. The staff were helpful and the hotel well located close to the MTR, the night market and the airport bus. Free internet was a bonus.

It was a great cheap hotel and right in the middle of the night markets, staff were great but small rooms. Would stay again for 1 night.

The breakfast was basic, very odd. The room smelt damp and clothes were a little damp in the morning. very small room but had what was needed. The hotel area was noisy and a little slummish which could put people off BUT it was in the middle of everyhing all within walking distance. Overall it wasn;t too bad i am a little fussy though

I have stayed in this hotel last year and was given a no window unit, this year, I have a great stay there, the room seems to be bigger and I have a window to my room, although there is no scenic view but it gives me `light' and an indication of day and night. The location of this hotel is so far the best if you are looking for a budget hotel that cost less than S$100 in the busy district of Kowloon. The night market is just next door and if you walk further to Mongkok, you will reach Ladies Streeet in 15 min. Remember to bring your own shampoo, not included in the room. Breakfast is simple but filling, adequate if you are looking for something light and healthy in the morning.

Very near the Famous Nathan Road. You have internet free in the Computer room. Room smaller if you asked for window view but if you don't mind better to take one without window slightly bigger and less noise. MTR not far.

The friendly and helpful staff really make our stay here pleasant. The breakfast is simple but nice and the location is almost perfect.
