Very Good Hotel - Deserves the 4* ratingI've been a regular visitor to Belfast for nearly 3 years now and I can honestly say that The Europa is consistantly one of the best for friendlyness of staff, being central to Belfast and overall satisfaction. The recent revamp has injected a more classy feel about the foyer and some of the room. They will discuss rates and potential upgrades which I always like. Definitely good value for money

Excellent valueUpgraded to executive room which had one of the biggest beds I've experienced and quality bathroom. Room quality downgraded as currently wireless was only accessible next to the door(!) and not free. Food quality on room service and breakfast not brilliant relative to the * standard of the hotel.

Excellent Room, But the food was a bit of a letdownGood hotel, with very clean well kept rooms. The public areas are very clean and nicely presented. Had a meal in the Piano Bar, which was average.

Perfect location, great surroundings and comfy bedVery useful for our meeting in Donegal Square and close to decent bars and clubs. The staff were extremely helpful but the evening meal was a little average and menu was limited in the piano bar but very confortable. This is a return visit and once again, not disappointed

Europa Hotel BelfastSince the refurbishment the accomodation at the Europa has improved immensely. The Hastings hotel's are comfortable and always with a friendly atmosphere. The Europa is centrally located in the heart of Belfast city and is close to all attractions and major shopping areas. I highly reccomend this hotel in terms of convenience, comfort and location.

not quite 4 star treatment for 4 star pricing. very late check in time and no rooms available at 3.00pm on a saturday,toilets in restaurant inadequate and filthy, so dirty they had to be closed. Bar toilets same conditions. Cubicle so small a lady had to climb over the toilet bowl to get out the door. No air conditioning in any rooms. Breakfast must have been prepared a week previous, it was so chewy. Hotel very short staffed, but compliments to all staff on duty. Concierge had to park cars, look after left-luggage and customer queries, for a young man he was excellent at his job. Maybe they should have him as manager, as I didnt see one on the premises.

After visiting Belfast for over ten years our stay at the Europa hotel was a disaster. Our room was dirty and bed linen torn.(we have photos). The bathroom was cold and the extractor fan was not working, we reported a leak under the hand basin this was not fixed, we had to lay towels on the floor to soak up the water. During the night two women wre fighting in the corridor outside our room, this was accompanied by shouting,swearing and banging of doors. This disturbance carried on for two and half hours. The bar staff in the piano bar were rude and the duty manager was called. Breakfast was over priced and tasteless as well as luke warm.Our room was not cleaned on the second day and we had to ask for clean towels. Belfast is a lovely city and the people very friendly, we would return to belfast but NEVER to Hastings hotels.
