Arrived at 5:30 PM and was told that reserved King bed room was not ready. After waiting another 45 minutes, I called Orbitz and requested assistance. After Orbitz called the front desk, I was finally given a room at 6:30PM. Front desk clerk was very apologetic, and gave us a free dinner entree as a comp. The room was spacious and comfortable, but short on wash cloths. The breakfast was adequate, but not exceptional. Great place for families with young children, but not a quiet stay for adults.

Spacious and comfortable for family accomodations.

My family loved the breakfast! The rooms were nice. The bathroom area was a little small, but everything was clean and overall we were very pleased with our stay.

We really enjoyed the breakfast. Beautiful courtyard/atrium area. Nice spacious rooms, that were clean and comfortable. Front desk people were very friendly and helpful. Was kind of noisy on the weekend but the hotel was pretty full. Would definitely stay here again.

What a great place to stay for work or play. My room was clean and a very nice two room suite. The workout room was small, but had TV's to each machine, which was great. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful from the cleaning staff to front desk personnel. Exceptional breakfast to include made to order omlettes, pancakes, and french toast, along with everything else you can think of. The best part was the hospitality hour at night with the nightly snacks and drinks. I thoroughly enjoyed myself at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone going to Lubbock. Just a few minor negative points, to include the pool being somewhat small, open for people to look in, and lots of kids (which is great for the kids).

The Embassy Suites in Lubbock was very comfortable. We enjoyed having a bedroom and living area. I had come to Lubbock for surgery and had to stay a week afterwards to recover. The desk staff and Housekeeping were very caring and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure our room was cleaned quickly and always asked about how I was and if there was anything they could do for me. The hotel was some distance from the hospital, but it was not too difficult to find our way around town because the desk staff helped us find our way.

Enjoy hotel setting. They forget to clean our room. This hotel was very nice to stay in out town.

Arrived back to the hotel on Friday evening at 5pm. My key did not work so I went to the front desk to get new keys and left Grandma outside the room. When I returned with new room keys I found a group of people opening my door. They had been given my room. The room that I was still occupying. The room was not clean and there were strangers entering it. I went downstairs got new keys and was assured the room would be cleaned. No real apology. We had couple of drinks at the happy hour and I decided to check the room to see if it had been cleaned. Again my room key didn't work so I went to go see the manager again. He said "sorry" and gave me new keys and told me to let him know if the room wasn't clean, at that point I handed him my keys and said "you check the room, that's your job" He returned my keys 20 minutes later and said that the room had been cleaned. and he said "sorry about that". That is not the type of response I expected. When we did return we found the following: The beds were made and we had clean towels but the dirty dishes and glasses were not removed or replaced. The coffee was still in the coffee pot, the ice bucket was full, we had little toilet paper etc.... Obviously the room was not cleaned by a maid... This is not acceptable service from a Embassy Suites Hotel and I cannot recommend this hotel. In fact I would have expected that they would have credited me for at least one nights stay for the inconvenience but their management could have cared less. Don't stay at this hotel!

If there is a nicer hotel in Lubbock, I haven't seen it. The Embassy Suites is your best choice. The way Lubbock is laid out, it isn't difficult to get anywhere in town, but the Embessy Suites' location makes it even easier. Parking was free and never too far from the hotel and it was in a nice part of town. there were plenty of places to eat close, but don't bother leaving the hotel for breakfast! whatever you want for breakfast is already on the buffet that is included in the stay. outstanding!

Very quiet never loud. They double charged me trying to put Friday night and Saturday night on my credit card. I liked the hotel.

""Do Not Disturb"" sign was on outside of door. around 9 am housekeeping knocked and then walked right in without waiting to see if anyone in room (or looking at the Do Not Disturb sign). I was only 5 feet from door and the male staff member opened door before I could reach it. Luckily I was dressed.

Friendly staff and great clean accommodations. I've told several of my friends and family about our wonderful stay. We can't wait to visit again!

front desk staff woke us up 7 am on day of departure, said problem with credit card. they checked and there was no problem. they had woken me up after spending the whole night with migraine. had not planned on leaving until 9 or 10 am that day. Went to breakfast and when we came back to room, cleaning staff was already inside. should have waited. we felt like we were rushed out of there.

Beautiful facility with friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast and the evening reception are high quality. The pool area is not monitored by staff, so when we tried to use it, other guests had left their kids unattended which diminished our experience. This hotel is beautifully decorated and well maintained. I have stayed here several times and have always been pleased with the facility, quality of food served, and the friendly helpful staff.

Stayed here on business multiple times and is the nicest hotel I have stayed at in Lubbock. Fitness center is great with every machine having its own personal TV. Breakfast was hot and fresh. The entire staff I met were friendly and attentive. Most Importantly the hotel rooms were clean and comfy. I will be staying here again!

Everything about this hotel was excellent. I had made a special request on behalf of my parents, which they had already taken care of upon arrival. The hot water. I had to wait at least 10 minutes for the hot water to begin. My father had to wait the same amount of time in the morning. Excellent hotel and staff. Food and beverage great. Hot water system needs to be upgraded (if possible). Even though it was not much of an inconvenience to have to wait for the hot water, I will stay there again.

Beautiful hotel, I would stay there again. My husband snoring bothered the people in the next room, sorry folks. Great breakfast, comfortable pillow top beds, helpful staff, we needed a ground floor room for my daughter who was in a leg cast from recent surgery.

Close to Texas Tech. Alittle hard to get to because of construction.

All the rooms in this hotel are suites with a sofabed. The dinner was so-so, but the buffet breakfast was really wonderful. It's fairly expensive for the city where it is located, but definitely a nice place to stay. We are going to stay there again on our next trip to Lubbock.

The staff was over the top accommodating, friendly, & knowledgeable. Nothing! It was the best hotel experience I have ever had Since recently having surgery, the staff was more than helpful to re-arrange the location of my room to the front of the hotel where it was much more accessible for us to enter and exit with minimum amount of walking. They were totally amazing and what great attitudes, very gracious, and made us feel at home! Iwill go back again.
