The hotel was descent but nothing to really brag about. The carpet could have been cleaner and it needed a little TLC. Overall not too bad.

Beautiful lobby. Efficient andeducated staff. The hotel was very busy the night we checked in. However, the staff remained calm and check everyone in quickly and efficiently.

Stayed at this hotel for two nights in January. The hotel is no longer a Holiday Inn Select, but has converted to a Crowne Plaza. We had a room with a recently renovated bathroom. It was absolutely gorgeous with travertine tile and granite! The new bedding package is equally impressive, very comfortable! The biggest plus for me was the incredible fitness center. I like to workout everyday and this is the best fitness center I have seen in a hotel. I will definitely stay at this hotel again! Beverly Missouri

We stayed 6 nights in this hotel on a family trip as my daughter participated in a scholarship contest which was held there. The overall stay was rather miserable. Some of the staff were unfriendly. The room's air conditioning unit was coming off the wall and had a constant, very annoying rattle. The carpet was dirty. The bathroom was tiny and rather dirty. The shower head was just plain weird and outdated. Restaurant was constantly understaffed. Swimming pool was rather small but I guess adequate. I didn't use it. The dresser containing the t.v. looked like a Good Will reject from the '70's. One positive, the mattress was quite comfortable. The pull out sofa sleeper was unfit for human usage. Overall, I would give this hotel a big thumbs down and would never stay there again!!

Location and cleanliness. Wait staff in the restaurant were inattentive. Hotel was in an excellent location for what I needed to do. Central Baton Rouge. Clean and roomy rooms. The Front Desk staff was cheerful and friendly.

I had a confirmed reservation for about two months.Arrived at 2:00pm told could not check in until 4:00 pm.At 4:00pm still no room.At 5:00pm no room and told may not get one. Lucky found another room. Won't be back.

Nothing whatsoever. The hotel was disgusting. Not cleaned up for 24 hours. Smoking allowed. This hotel is just disgusting. At night, the hotel is a popular hangout for swingers. The hotel caters to them. When I checked in at 10:00 pm, there were two men with two women each standing in the lobby making out and necking, in plain view of the security guard and the front-desk clerk. Smoking is allowed virtually everywhere, despite a Louisiana statewide ban on smoking. I've never seen anything like this in a hotel.

This used to be a very nice hotel but it now very run down and filthy. I refused to stay the night there after checking in. Hotel staff was not helpful. Room had not been cleaned. Housekeeping was called to clean room but never came. Manager then offered me a room he said another traveler had already refused to stay in. For the rate there are many nicer hotels to stay in while traveling to Baton Rouge.

People, lounge. Floor in room was dirty. Hotel sent maid to vacuum. Nice desk, and the desk chair actually works! The hotel is right on I-10, so ask for a room in the back of the hotel. I-10 is very loud.

Guest rooms and bathrooms were clean and well equipped. Restaurant/bar were adequate. However the bed linens were terribly worn and rough. There are too many other similarly priced properties in the vicinity to ever stay at this Holiday Inn again.

Great location, close to restaurants andstores. USA today was delivered just once during the week. Hotel was very nice. I would recommend this hotel to others.

We stayed at the Executive Center for a conference. Every hotel guest we came in contact with was extremely helpful and pleasant. We will be back here

This hotel was clean, felt safe and very convenient to airport and restaurants. Upon arrival in the lobby I felt better and even better upon entering our room. It was clean, pleasant, and roomy. All staff encountered was pleasant and accommodating. I will stay again.

Big rooms. Poor customer care. Overall a good hotel. However, there was a convention going on during my stay. There were so many locals (people not staying at the hotel) attending the convention that every parking spot was taken at the hotel. The front desk clerk told me to check again there must be a spot in the lot! Very poor event planning on the part of the hotel management when a paying guest can't park at the hotel.

The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Not enough plug ins or mirrors in room. I was on an overnight business trip with wall-mart; so I didn't really spend a long time there; but while I was there even during our meetings, the place was very comfortable; the staff was great; and I felt safe.

Suite was superb in size for family! A little slow on the luggage assistance - but very friendly! Great location for shopping. Lsu & freeway access, and a great tex-mex restaurant (ninfa's) right next door. Staff was friendly - gym was very nice & a great running track around the lakes (2 & 4 mile) within a 2 minute drives. Highly recommend.

Clean, brightly lit. Broken light, dirty iron, flooded bathtub, arguing outside hallway between maids and supervisors. When I tried to grab a lightbulb from the maid's service tray one of your maid supervisors rebuked me about "helping myself", which I found unacceptable considering that I was trying to rectify a situation I shouldn't have encountered. The coffee stand for early morning risers is taken away much too soon, as are the donuts and pastries. The business center or "computer" was always busy; obviously there aren't enough computers to meet the demand. The air conditioner was too, too loud. I had difficulty sleeping. Something is definitely wrong with the machine. I believe I was in rm 346. The window doesn't open so you can't get fresh air, just the stinking air from the air conditioner which hasn't had its filters cleaned in ages.

The entire staff was extremely friendly. There was a stained comforter, a broken chair, and the bathroom was not as clean as it could be. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, however, the room itself was disappointing. There were body fluid stains on the white comforter and the arm chair separated when sitting against the back of the chair.
