We were in Orangeburg for a meeting and did not know the area so we called the Hotel to get directions and the staff person could not give us directions to the hotel. We arrive at the hotel after stopping and asking numerous people and then she does not have the correction information about my reservation. I have to give her my confirmation. In the room we had recurring bugs, minimum towells that we had to go back to the front desk to get more, no delivery service here. The floor was not vacuumed and the wall paper was coming off the walls. In addition when we folded back the comforter a used bottle of location came out with it meaning they did not shack out the comforter or clean in from the previous quest thus we needed new sheet did not trust the cleanliness of the staff.

Very nice swimming facilities with evening bar that is away from rooms. Our Childs bed was filled with CAT hair. Housekeeping did a wonderful job of changing sheets. Night manager was rude and acted if she could care less. On outward appearance this was a nice hotel. But when you turned back the sheets you found cat hair all over the pillow and the sheets. Housekeeping responded promptly.

My family of five stayed here on the way to Florida. Booked a room with two queen beds and a roll-a-way bed in advanced. They confirmed my reservation with roll-a-way but, when we got to our rooms, no roll-a-way bed. The desk clerk claimed they didn't have anymore and never appologized and brushed us off. Made manager aware of our unsatisfaction when we checked out and were told she'd take care of it. Room had filthy carpet and bathroom, tub had dirty foot prints stained in it.

Location was good. The employees seemed to be confused on making room assignments. Air conditioner didn't work. The air conditioner didn't work - it would come on then turn off but wouldn't turn on again until the room got to about 90 degrees! Very unprofessional service from the staff at this motel - I will never, use them again.

Generally clean and well maintained with a better-than-average continental breakfast (hb eggs, waffles, fresh fruit, etc.), but room carpeting badly needed shampooed.

We were here briefly on our way to Florida. Very nice, clean room. Fridge and microwave were a plus. Great cont. breakfast!
