Excel shower/tub - continental breakfast. Odor and ants in room, awkward microwave. The Comfort Inn has an excellent location close to all services, large rooms with refrigerator and micro, great showers, thin towels, exercise machines, and a well stocked continental breakfast, but alas, like so many smaller Inns, they also don't have the staff to keep the place squeaky clean.

Our party booked a block of rooms on Feb. 7, 2009 for a family funeral. The general manager was on duty wearing a t-shirt and unshaven when I checked in. The rate we were quoted for the room block the day before was changed by the general manager. We had guests checking in and had informed them what the rates were to be, directions to funeral home from the hotel, etc. There were guests checking in from out of town who had made reservations and the rooms were not ready and the rates were different. I complained to the GM and there was a guest standing behind me who said you will get no where with him! That particular guest was staying 3 weeks and had his wife visit for the weekend and was locked out of his room 2 times because he had an extra person in the room. Both of us agreed that we would never go back there again. The GM said he managed 5 Comfort Inns in the area. Pick another brand if you are staying in the area and want professional service, concern and friendliness.

Ants were crawling all round in the bathtub. The halls smelled like smoke because the smoking rooms propped their doors open. The pool was cool, not clean, dimmy lite. The fire alarm went off 4 times in one night. The breakfast bar lacked variety. Too close to highway, very noisy.
