I really enjoyed my stay! The hotel is very close to shooping and events, colleges ETC.. Yet it seem out of the maddness of the city! LOVED IT!

very convenient for going out at night to two of the best nightlife scenes in the city. short walk or cab ride to the park mount royal, and the old city.

This is a very nice hotel for the money. Our room was small but well-appointed. Marble bath tiles and floor, Frette sheets. Quiet. Well-maintained. There is valet parking for * but I would recommend the parking a half block away for * a night. The location is near the University so if you would like to visit the old city, you will probably want to take a taxi because it is a bit of a walk. There aren't a lot of places to eat or have a late-night drink in this area. We had a very nice time and would highly recommend this hotel.

The staff was very attentive and the room was spotless. The room seemed a bit on the small side but this could be attributed to all the furniture in the room. However it did have a cozy feeling. If shopping is on your agenda, this is a great place to stay. There are art galleries and "high end" clothing stores such as Gucci and Hermes within blocks. A little further from the hotel you will come upon popular name brand clothing stores such as Zara, Simons and Banana Repbulic which are still within walking distance. Don't forget to leave the hotel without eating the complimentary breakfast. They provide you with several options.

The hotel has steam and fitness romm, but we were very tired to use this. It was important for us to have good shower and comfortable bed after long day of walking.

Very quaint - we appreciated the helpfulness and recommendations of the staff as far as places to go and restaurants. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go or could take a short metro ride.

The hotel is conveniently located near some good bars and restaurants, and is not far from the subway lines. The valet service is rather expensive, but the staff was good enough to recommend a cheap parking lot nearby. Our room was clean and comfortable.

Very clean and hospitable. the only problem was that we were facing the street and very noisy, also very warm. Other than that the hotel is superb, especially the breakfast.

Hotel was nice, clean and comfortable. Good location - only a couple of blocks from the metro. We parked at the seminary down the street for $7 per day - that was a bargain. The breakfast was good but not great with a fair amount of variety. The only complaint is that it was quite crowded one weekend morning such that it was difficult to find a place to eat. Workout room is very small.

Our rooms were not booked initially in the system when we arrived, but they found the paperwork from Orbitz after about 15 minutes. They upgraded us to the King suites. This place was wonderful and the staff was so attentive and nice. I would go back just for the breakfast! Au Pain Chocolate and cheeses are a must!! Look forward to the next visit!!

The hotel was easy to find, even after a long, nerve wracking traffic jam coming into the city, with easy temporary parking out front, and a quick check-in. I handed my car keys to the valet and didn't worry about my car for the entirety of my three night stay. My room was small, and a little dark, but conveniently located on the first floor, tastefully appointed, with a reasonably priced mini bar, and a deep bathtub in a lovely marble tiled bathroom. Perfect for a nice soak with a glass of Chivas after the long drive. Turn down service, (with chocolates), newspapers left by my door in the morning, and a first class Continental breakfast in the charming common room, Le Boudoir, added to the pleasure of my visit. Although I spent very little time at the hotel, except for resting, sleeping, and breakfast, I could have spent my time in the room watching TV and pay-per-view movies, or playing PS2, and ordering room service from the high class restaurant across the street, if that's what I had wanted. There is also a computer, with high speed internet, in a stairwell nook on the first floor, for those of us without laptops. Complimentary umbrellas in a stand next to the front entrance, for use by guests during inclement weather, are among the small details have been well thought out, and every one added a little something special. The hotel location on Rue Sherbrook is two blocks from the Guy Concordia metro station, and four blocks from the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, in a lovely, very upscale neighborhood at the base of Mont Royal. A variety of nice restos, as well as a local Deponneur,(convenience store), also within two blocks, make up for the lack of a bar/restaurant in the hotel itself. Rue Ste. Catherine, with all of its shopping and lively nightlife, is about a 15-20 minute walk. The staff is formal, friendly, and completely bilingual, as is most of Montreal. All in all I had a wonderful stay. Any of the minor inconveniences I experienced, (toilet paper rolls t

The hotel is in townhouses on Sherbrooke Street and very European and elegant with one-of-a-kind rooms. Desk is very helpful with dinner reservations and questions about getting around, and easily switch from French to English. Our room was comfortably furnished and with a great bed -- very comfortable after all the walking we did. Central location near the Musee des beaux arts and a quick walk to the Guy/Concordia Metro stop. A terrific continental-plus breakfast is included. One caveat: hotel has no elevator and lots of stairs. No bother for us, but some may find it difficult.

My fiance and I went for a 4th of July Weekend getaway. The hotel was part of the [...] package. It was very good value for the money. Cute boutique hotel with lots of character. The breakfast was continental (with European style extras like cheeses and meats, fresh fruit, excellent coffee and pastries) served in a lovely sunny room with tables and couches. The location was perfect on a beautiful street downtown close to galleries, restaurants, etc. The only downside was that our room was VERY small, literally the bed took up the whole room. However, we peeked in the room next to us and it was large with a fireplace, so it may have been just what we got. Also, there are no elevators (we were on the second floor) and there are stairs to enter the building. You also had to be quite limber to get around the bed in the room. This was no problem for us, but if we were elderly or disabled it would have been. Overall, I would recommend it.
