very clean and convientient

Room had plenty of space, DVD player and kitchen made it like home. Everything was fine. We stayed here for a wedding because it was much cheaper than the bride and groom's hotel choice. We couldn't have been happier with the place! The room had plenty of space, even with a respectable sized kitchenette. We brought our own movie to watch on the DVD player, popped some (complementary) popcorn in the microwave, and settled in for some downtime after the festivities. The decor was very tasteful, the room very clean, and the staff very helpful. We definitely plan to stay at a Candle wood Suites in the future.

rooms were nice. we reserved 3 rooms, and within 48 hrs, we had a change in plans, requested to cancel one room. the only way was to cancel all 3 rooms for 100 charge, and re-book for 2 rooms.the towels were rough in feel, as if they were brand new and not washed yet.

This is a extended stay hotel....you actually sleep in the kitchen. There is only housekeeping once a week, so no bed making or changing of linens. I would have also liked a continental breakfast with the cost of the stay. Not a good choice for your vacation stay.

An excellent place to stay. Very clean and modern, well kept. Includes stove, microwave, frig, dishwasher. Well worth the price.

Rooms are spacious but could use upgrade to KING beds and wireless internet. A modest open buffet breakfast would make this location very attractive to me. Meanwhile I will search other alternatives nearby for the items listed above. This area has become very competitive with several new hotels.

The kitchenette/fridge. Furniture wasuncomfortable. TV wastoo small. The hotel had a pleasant and friendly staff. I requested extra pillows and blankets, and I received them immediately. The hotel was also quiet, which is definitely a plus.

Nice rooms--very roomy. Desk called to see if we were going to check out even though it hadn't passed time to checkout. I would definitely recommend this hotel--it is no frills but whether you are staying overnight or for a long stay the rooms are really nice.

Beautiful room at an excellent price. A pool would be nice, but it was not really setup for kids. Great. One of the nicest rooms I've ever had.

Beautiful room with many things available in room such as DVD and VHS players and tapes. No problems at all. Upon entering we were greeted warmly. They were going through some renovations to make guests better provided for. The room was beautiful with complete kitchen with microwave popcorn ready to pop. We had a choice of pillow firmness which I have never had before. Upon leaving there was a note in our key holder that we were invited to choose a can of pop "on the house". The venting machines were on "the honor system whereby you write your room number and it would later be charged to you. Upon arriving at home we discovered our phone charger had been left. We called and they put it aside for our daughter in Rockford to pick up.

Staff was helpful; room was well-equipped for a long or short stay. Not a good hotel for more than 2 people; room was small with only one small bed. I was disappointed because I was told that if I checked in early enough, I might get a room with two beds because I was staying with my three sons. I was told if not, I would at least get a rollaway bed. When I arrived, only three hours after check-in, there were no rooms available with two beds and there were no rollaway beds either (They said that they weren't clean from the day before.) I was a bit annoyed because now we had to go to Wal-Mart and buy sleeping bags to accommodate all of us. Needless to say. Very disappointed and not a good deal after all, when I added in the sleeping bag prices (which I had at home, had I known I would need them; Lesson learned!).

Awesome bed. Parking. It was a good stay at Candlewood. The bed was very good but we had an issue with the parking. After we came back from our event that we went to, there was no parking and we were directed to park in a handicapped spot. There were not enough spots for the visitors and some people took up 2-4 spots with their vehicles.

Snack room. Staff did not clean up my room after 1st nights stay. Slightly better than average hotel in terms of cleanliness. Had kitchenette. Few other amenities.

Nice rooms. Able to cook there. Well I didn’t like the fact that we didn’t have any soap. The hotel was nice, but we didn’t have any soap tissue dish soap or and they was short on towels! It was not a great visit!

It was like getting my own apartment for one night! It was all good! ANA, at the front desk was very sweet. They even call your room after 10-15 minutes after you get in to see if you have any questions. There were dishes and silverware in the cabinets and a collection of movies you could borrow from. A full size fridge and a dishwasher would be a great thing for people that have to stay on business for more than a few days! Free guest laundry also! It was excellent!

Location was good and easy to get to. The bedspread was all sticky and bath was not super clean. It was okay. Good for the price we paid.

Candle wood Pantry. Video library. We never have stayed at a Candle wood Suites before. It would be a great place to stay on a long trip away from home. The room and kitchenette make it feel more like being at home than a hotel room. Of the perks listed, we enjoyed the "Candle wood Pantry". You could pick up breakfast and snack items right there for grocery store prices. You pay on the honor system or can charge to your room. Very nice. Could also do your own laundry for free. Could be helpful during a long stay. They advertised a video library. Have to look over the counter at the front desk. Didn't like the set up, and not much choice. The front desk is a little slow, so try to beat the rush for checkout in the morning. Very quiet, few kids. Worth a second look.
