This was a very nice hotel to stay at. We have 3 children and they had a fun time. The pool, exercise room, hot tub, ping pong, golf, & shooting pool. All of it except the exercise room is located in the pool area. Nice restaurant too!! Would stay here again. Nice bed and shower.

The Holiday Inn Rockford was undergoing a remodel during my visit. The room had been finished very nicely, but the hallways, business center and lobby are still under construction. The fitness room is really just a large closet with 5 pieces of cardio equipment. But to make up for it the hotel will give you a free pass to the local Bally.

Large room, comfortable beds. Elevator was not working, hallway was not clean. The room was very nice and clean and large for three little kids and my husband and I. There was a room service tray with old food on it outside our door. That tray was out there the following day also.

My husband and I have stayed here 3 times during the summer of 07. We were hesitant after reading the reviews. Glad we booked. Indoor pool is excellent. Rooms were great, food very good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Close to many attractions in Rockford. Easy interstate access. If you don't eat at the hotel, there are great restaurants near.

Rooms were clean. Whole building seemed damp. Adequate stay. Rooms were fine. Pillows were horrible. Probably a little overpriced for hotel.

"Room service by attendants is very poor. They omit towels, toiletries, coffee packs,etc. Front desk did not comment. Poor customer relationship in this market area. Been going to this hotel weekly for 7 months. I will now switch. New room furniture is very unusually placed"

I did not like anything about this hotel. Where do you start? Was met at the counter of hotel and waited 20 minutes to be waited on. Hotel staff were not helpful at all and were rude at times. I asked for a roll away bed for each room and was told they probably would not have any. A Holidome that large would not have 2 rollaway beds? They should have had 4 rollaway beds. Rooms were absolutely disgustingly dirty. Bathroom had dirty water spots all over each ceiling tile in each room. No deodorizing in rooms. I had to take these rooms because there were no other rooms available in the city and I paid full price for each room. I would not let a dog stay there. The carpet was wet in my room and the air conditioning worked only on low. When asked to speak with the General Manager was told that he was not available. Took down his name though. Mr. Siener will be hearing from me personally. I am an Employment Specialist in Chicago Illinois and work with all the major hotels in the downtown area. I send potential job seekers to all hotels. I have seen many hotels and met with their top human resource managers.

i have stayed in quite a few hotels in this city and thins one by far was the worst. my non smoking room stunk of cigarettes and my bathroom had hair all over it still! i was glad to leave in the morning! there is a hotel across the street for less than half the price of this one that is 100 times better!

The swimming area. It needs some updates like new carpet. Overall, the experience was very satisfactory.
