Date of Stay: March, 2010

This hotel stay was horrible. The service was absolutely terrible! I was overcharged for the room (I had paid for a king sized bed and was not refunded, simply told that they were all booked), and the default room is smoking. We had to change rooms twice, and didn't even ultimately get what we paid for (we had 2 double beds). Valet parking was $30 a night, and I had to wait over 30 minutes for my car which was parked in the lot next door, and my car was left UNLOCKED in the street, and the valet employees took my keys. I complained and was told that they didn't speak English, even though I had talked to them the day before without a problem. I switched into Spanish and was told to go talk to someone else. The hotel staff is uncaring and downright rude. For $178 a night, the customer should NOT be treated like this, especially in this economy. Location was convenient, hotel not very clean, very loud, and overall a rip-off. Please spread the word: do NOT stay here! It's not good business.

This is an updated hotel with remodeled pool. Don't expect much from the workout facility. Close to fun, entertainment, beach and convention center. For the price I expected a much better service. Value price ratio low but the facility is nice.

The Albion hotel is a kind of art deco. I like art deco. Swimming pool, fitness center and bar this hotel were closed because of under construction. Especially hotel manager is not helpful. I wasdisappointed. Swimming pool, fitness center and bar of this hotel were under construction. There was no info about given. When I arrived the hotel I knew that swimming pool, fitness center and bar this hotel were under construction. I was on the vacation but no swimming pool, no fitness center, No bar-cafe-restaurant and no any attraction. I was very very upset. The hotel manager was not friendly. My reservation was for six days. It was prepaid. Therefore, I didn't move another hotel.

I went to Miami Beach with some friends. I chose this place because it was affordable. My expectations were low because it was so cheap, but I needed only a place to lay my head at night. Well, I was so surprised. I loved it. The room and location was great. The ony downside was that parking was expensive, but that is because chose to use the valet service. Housekeeping was great. The hotel was so unique. It was a great choice for me and I will most definitely stay there again!

The hotel is close to mi office in South Beach. For business purposes it is ok. FOr leisure I would surely go for another option.

I like the modern look of the hotel. There were 3 of us and we tried to get a double bed and they charged us extra 50.00.

We arrived on Saturday and we weren't impressed with the exterior appearance of the hotel. It looked much better on the pictures. Once inside, we were again disappointed. Rust stains ran down from the ceiling and the lobby wasn't as modern and posh as portrayed. The staff was friendly and saw our luggage to our room after a short altercation between a guest and a visitor occured. The room was tiny and poorly decorated. There was no balcony and no coffee machine in the room. I attempted to take a shower and I didn't have the luxury of having hot water. My boyfriend was a bit more lucky than I in regards to water temperature!!! :) The hairdryer also caught on fire while I was drying my hair. Although, the staff was quick to bring me another one, I wasn't reassured. We spent 3 nights at the hotel and all three were nights of poor sleep.. The bed was terribly uncomfortable and the mattress lacked firmness. If you are looking for a relaxing hotel, this hotel is not the one for you. With a bunch of kids running around and partying, we returned more stressed and tired than when we originally got there. The room is not worth the price we paid. Although the hotel is reasonnably located, there are better options!!!! Finally Valet parking was a disaster. Although one attendant was curteous and prompt, the others were slow and always asking to move our car out of the way, even if we were stopping by the hotel for a brief 15 minutes. Ouchhhh!!! Even if we didn't use the restaurant or pool facilities, other guests commented that the food quality was horrible. The hotel also advised us that the pool was broken. Overall, TERRIBLE!

The location was great, the decor was perfect and the staff was very helpful. The pool, which is one of their best features was being renovated, so I missed that - but the beach was a block away. The Albion was everything I hoped for when it comes to a South Beach deco hotel. Decor was done beautifully and our room was perfect. The bed covers were delightful, puffy white and airy. The Staff was extremely helpful. Upgraded our room without us asking. Only bad thing, the pool was being renovated but they gave us beach towel to use at the ocean. Great location! Will go back again.

"II love this hotel for "" total coolness"" of the lobby waterwall and swimming pool with portholes ! It lived up to my expectations of SoBe coolness. It has great location , a two minute walk to the beach and around the corner from Lincoln Road for all the people watching and outdoor cafes. The room was well designed ,comfortable and quiet! My only negative comment is that the laundry is dumped on the floor during cleanup/servicing and they should invest in a laundry cart and better training of cleaning staff! I'd highly recommend this hotel!"

The room was as our reservation. Large room and king size bed. The clima can be setup like our preference and the TV was sufficient large (but not LCD). The bathroom was too large. The room was sufficient cleaning and comfortable. Great location near more turistic places.

nothing special!! i got the top of the line room and still not realy big deal. rooms very small. yes it is nice but be carefull, pool was closed and not one notice!!

The hotel was a great deal and it is located in the middle of everything. It was so convenient to the beach and Lincoln Road. It was worth it and I would definitely stay there again if I was trying to save a few bucks.

The hotel was very clean and close to all the fun of South Beach. The room was a little small. The Albion was a nice hotel within walking distance of the beach, restaurants and clubs. It was clean, the staff was friendly and well worth the money for its location and amenities.
