The bed was comfortable and the bath towels were superb and the location was perfect and the staff were friendly and helpful
Cost and had a few unwanted critters ( ants and roaches) the ants were because wrapped food was placed on top of fridge for a short period before being put away
The property style was lovely. It was simple and Bohemian chic. I loved the location. There was beach access and privacy.

This historic hotel is a gem in Paia! We loved everything about it: the facilities, the amenities also for breakfast (which is not technically offered, by they have a cute common area where there are both American and Nespresso coffees), the decor of all areas, including the ones outside - it has many different patios/gardens and two separate provate beach spaces! The fact that is on the main road...
The rooms are definitely on the smaller size (we were offered an upgrade to a bigger room, but for a much higher fee), but with all you need and if you don't have a massive suitcase, the space is manageable.Read more

Bed and pillows were uncomfortable. Toilet paper was cheap. There were termite droppings in the kitchen and the room was kinda dark with undesirable, unclean outdoor area.
The location was perfect - close to food and local shopping.
