Everything was great. The breakfast is 100% worth it, the quality was top, the service was great, the view to the sea was wonderful. Bernardo is wonderful, always there to help you have a wonderful holiday, stress free and comfortable. Manuel gave us so much insights of restaurants and things to do. Excellent view, walking distance from the town of Levanto. Extremely friendly staff.
Bernardo was extremely helpful throughout our stay - helping with restaurant bookings, suggesting hiking routes and generally being delightful. The hotel is charming, you eat a delicious breakfast in an old chapel.
Prepare for a walk uphill unless you have a car. Shuttle is available from hotel
This was a small owner operated hotel. The owner was fully invested in making our stay as perfect as possible. Prosecco on arrival, towels for the hot tub (a marvellous view), chauffeured collection and return to the train station. Great communication through the use of WhatsApp, where train and ferry timetables were provided, and a map of the area, plus a great mapped summary of best restaurants ...
Free wifi is provided, but connection was a bit patchy. Some reviewers have commented on the distance from town (it is a fair walk), but just check with Bernardo, and he will accommodate transfers.Read more
La Madonetta is a beautiful property on the outskirts of Levanto. Bernardo and Manni were exceptional hosts who provided helpful recommendations for walks, restaurants and activities. This is a wonderful location for visiting Cinque Terre.
Loved the view looking over Levanto and the sea. It felt like a true Italian experience. We enjoyed the short walk into town. Loved it.
Wonderful and quite view.
Nice, Clean and historical
Breakfast was really special with different local specialities served each day - lovely selection of food served at your table. No self-service buffet here! Was a really lovely touch and a great breakfast to set you up for the day of walking the "cinque Terre" mountain paths. Nice sun-terrace with great views where you can relax after walking all day and watch the sun setting.
La Madonetta is on the outskirts of town and to get to the centre and restaurants in the evening, it is quite a walk on steep, dark paths.
Our stay at La Madonetta was perfect. Bernardo and Manny were excellent hosts—they offered a great breakfast and were very helpful with recommendations. Our room had a gorgeous view. Staying here made our time in Levanto even more special.
The walk to get here is up a steep hill, but the views were so amazing that we didn't even mind!
You could not find more accommodating hosts than Bernardo and Manny. Highly, highly recommend this spot.
Honestly everything exceeded our expectations.
