Pros (+) Our stay at Summerville was great. The hotel is clean and well maintained, staff is very helpful and supportive. Food was really good for our taste, the location is good - the beach in front of the hotel is marked by the Reef being very close to the beach so there is little play area for the kids (at least for my kids, that do not enjoy wearing shoes at the beach), but it was not an issue as they ...
Cons (-) The downside is really the communication, we were not proactively informed about the Christmas activities for the kids and other smaller communication points that failed.

Pros (+) Really nice hotel, a small resort so you don't really have to move a lot to get to all the different areas. Food and drinks are great too. I really liked the night shows and the pool is great too. There are a lot of activities, but most of what I wanted to do lacked maintainance.
Cons (-) Even though they make you sing a paper saying you can't reserve the seats at the pool, everybody does it and in 5 nights and I could't get a proper place beside the pool. As it most the area, no one speaks anything other than portuguese. Muro Alto is not the nicest beach, although Its great to see the fish and do snorkel (you have to walk about 200 meters to the central beach area) Went to the Ita...

Pros (+) We did have enjoyed our stay, which is due mainly from the employees excellent job. My young daughter had daily activities at clubinho, theatres and so on.. the rest of the staff is also marvelous, the guy Eduardo who fixed my slippers and the his other colleague girls from the bar; the guy Merquides and other staff from the beach; the dancers as well; regretfully I do not remember other names now...

Pros (+) Best full moon view ever! Safe and comfortable property. Kids loved it.
Cons (-) Although it is a beach front property you can´t swim in the ocean. There are corals and tons of urchins.
