Great location, room was good and very clean. Breakfast was good.
We were very disappointed with the food in the main restaurant; it was not very warm, and hardly anybody used it in the evening.. Very surprised that you had to pay extra for certain parts of the breakfast.

Stayed there before (10yrs) and was looking forward to another stay. We brought other family members this time around.
Add a swimming pool to the hotel if possible.
Great location. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. The room was spacious and the view was great.
Unfortunately, there was construction happening right infront of the hotel. But nothing can be done about that, probably in some months it will be resolved.

Location, location location! You can walk to every major attraction from here. ( there are some hills though! ) Beautiful room looking out to the Douro and Cathedral. Spacious and soft bed. Amazing shower too. All the comforts of home. Breakfast daily was included and set us up for the day. Staff were engaging and helpful on every level!
Renovations in the square outside and around the Säo Bento ( for past 4 years) mean that accessing the car area for dropping off bags can be a little difficult, but the concierge sort things out pretty efficiently and they park your car for the period you’re staying in Porto.. you don’t need a car at all!
