History presents itself in detail at Warwickshire Museum’s geology, natural history and archaeology exhibits. It also showcases The Great Fire of Warwick, Sheldon’s Tapestry Map and the infamous Warwick sea dragons from the Jurassic era. Don’t miss visiting the Norman crypt at Collegiate Church of St. Mary.

Swan Street is a busy shopping district where you can pick up designer clothing and one-of-a-kind art. It’s a short walk from Smith Street, one of the oldest shopping strips in Warwick. Check out Market Place on Saturday for handmade crafts, candles and fresh produce.

Getting around

Buses and taxis offer transportation throughout Warwick, while bicycle hire is available in the University district. You can pick up a rental car at Birmingham Airport, about 30 kilometres away.
