One of the Upper East Side’s most popular live music venues, Session 73 showcases homegrown cover bands playing blues, jazz, pop and funk. In addition to its main bar space, it also features a quiet dining area off where an enticing brunch and evening tapas menu is available.
A long bar stretches along one side of Session 73, where an intimate set of cosy tables and velour couches are set in front of a small stage. During the weekends the venue gets packed to its capacity, while weekdays are more relaxed with performances from laid-back acoustic acts. See New York's best up-and-coming artists at Session 73's Sunday Open Mic nights or visit on a Monday evening to learn a few new dance moves during their salsa lessons.
If you want to catch the latest sports action without missing out on the music, an additional bar is set in the back of the venue and features a projection screen where you can watch live games on comfy booth seats.
