Take a scuba diving or snorkelling excursion at one of the nearby islands such as Ko Larn, Ko Krok and Ko Sak. Looking for an outdoor adventure? Climb the hill at Wat Phra Khao Yai, otherwise known as “Big Buddha Hill”, where an 18-metre-tall Buddha sits 100 metres above sea level.

After a day of adventure, relax and soak up rays on Pattaya Beach, take a leisurely stroll along the peaceful Jomtien Beach or see the colourful French, Italian and Stonehenge-inspired garden displays at Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden.

Getting Around

The best way to get around central Pattaya is on foot, while taxis are available for journeys across the city. Songthaews and tuk-tuks offer a low-cost option, and motorbike rentals are also a popular option. If you are driving, be prepared for relaxed road rules and traffic.
