Where to stay in Kyrylivka

About Kyrylivka

Settled in the early 19th century as a Doukhobor community, Kyrylivka is a popular holiday resort town overlooking the Sea of Azov in Ukraine’s south. It’s home to a long stretch of sand and a family-friendly waterpark and is on the doorstep of Azov-Syvash National Natural Park’s scenic hiking trails.

Spend a day relaxing on the sands of Kyrylivka’s beach, which stretches along the entire length of the village. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants backing the sand where you can grab a bite to eat, as well as a lively seafood market serving freshly-caught fish plucked from the Sea of Azov.

Travelling with kids? You can cool off at the Ostriv Skarbiv water park, which is packed with waterslides, playgrounds and swimming pools. Across the street is the Dolphinarium Oskar where live shows take place featuring playful seals and dolphins native to the Black Sea.

Getting there

Kyrylivka is around 3.5 hours’ drive from Zaporizhzhia and Zaporizhzhia International Airport, which has regular flights to destinations across Europe. Trains connect from Zaporizhzhia to the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv. Having your own vehicle is the best way of exploring Kyrylivka and its surrounding natural attractions.
