Tips for your Stay in Eldoret

  • When you visit Eldoret, we recommend the Hindu Temple, one of Nakuru’s most popular Hindu religious centers. It is believed that for those who pay genuinely at this altar, their wishes are granted. The best time to pray is in the morning as you interact with the locals. You can stay in the luxurious Boma Inn Eldoret hotel, located a few meters from the Temple.
  • During a visit to Eldoret, be sure to include a stop at Mount Elgon National Park. This national park is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including lions, zebras, and giraffes. The park is also one of the few places to see the endangered lammergeyer. Stay in Mount Elgon Guest House and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. The park is also home to hot springs and the largest volcano crater in Africa, namely Caldera.
  • Rift Valley should be on your list if you're interested in hiking. Visitors to this lowland tourist attraction will be amazed to learn how geological forces led to the split of the earth, leaving a huge depression that has continued to widen with the forces of erosion. Great Rift Valley Lodge is the nearest facility to stay immersed in the valley. The hotel provides visitors with private balconies from where they can see the spectacular expanse of the world’s largest valley.
