The rooms were more like an older chain hotel that needs an update than a 4 star property. The bathroom had a half glass shower panel that allows the floor to get wet which I found quite odd from a long-term maintenance perspective. The carpet in the room was wrinkled and worn and the large window blinds needed a good cleaning. The rooms really don't merit the prices they charge but I guess as long as people keep coming, they can keep charging. Although the hotel nightly charge is not extravagant there is a hefty resort charge and everything at the hotel will come at a cost from room water to beach chairs. The main downside though it that on my visit the hotel was crowded. The hotel grounds are big enough for the crowd but with one pool and one beach, things get busy.
