We stayed at the St. Regis for our honeymoon last November and had an incredible experience. The service was top notch and staff was able to assist with anything we needed during our stay. We do recommend scheduling a taxi the night before you need it as they are not always lined up and ready to go. We did not realize this at first but luckily the concierge desk was able to make some calls and get us a taxi when we needed it! We took the full board package and enjoyed the breakfast buffet each morning and tried each of the restaurants for dinner. Floating Market may have been our favorite but all were excellent. Our only disappointing experience was with Simply India. The food and service were great but it lacked the ambiance of the other restaurants. It felt like a few tables were stuck in an empty room at the end of the property. Our suite was very spacious and clean and we loved stepping off the back porch and walking a few feet to the beach. While all beaches in Mauritius are public, Le Morne's more remote location means that it is much quieter and peaceful than some of the others. We had perfect weather during our stay so did not take advantage of the theater, library and other such indoor areas.
