    Good Experience

The distance from the Edinburgh Waverley station is less than one intersection. The lobby counter is on the second floor (the luggage should be picked up by yourself and there will be an elevator on the second floor). The staff is very good and the room is slightly small if it is the inner room. The decor is a bit old but the bathroom has been refurbished the bath is full of water. The room plug does not have a converter remember to bring your own, breakfast is good (can be combined into a traditional Scottish breakfast) drinks in addition to the table. There is also a part of the supply available for the cash on site.

To be remembered but not repeated

Staff did their best, I think, but seemed really poorly trained. we had both dinner & breakfast in hotel, advice, just AVOID. It was very central & beautiful view of Scott monument. However if you had any thought of sleep in this hotel it really was a figment of pure imagination. I asked for a very quiet room. so I faced the railway station with street parties & police sirons until 5:00 am or so. No double glazing, no noise insulation so all other guests coming & going was like somebody entering your room. Then roadworks started about 8:00 am which literally vibrated the room. NO SLEEP for two nights
