Duo Milan Porta Nuova, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

LikedThe hotel has a lovely decor and rooms are super clean. It’s a very short walk to Central Station for exploring Italy. The rooms are comfortable although I couldn’t quite get the temperature right. The service was very good throughout.

DislikedThe food was not great at all and over priced for the poor quality. I paid €14 for a Club sandwich and the meat was not the best quality and the lettuce badly wilted. I also paid €8 for a fruit bowl which was basically melon that looked like it had been cut up 3 days prior. Only paper cups provided for tea in the room and these weren’t replaced nor was the tea or water which we had to constantly ask for every day.

DislikedTerrible stay. The staff was rude and not very helpful. Their systems were down meaning they couldn't give us key to get in room, wifi was not good. My wife asked for a quiet room to take a quick work call and 10 mins before they showed her the room and then said it would be €500 to use when they hadn't previously said. They were not apologetic or nice about all the issues they were having and didn't make the stay good.

LikedDesign is great, location is also very good.

DislikedTwo things: very bad wifi and two beds pushed together instead of one queen bed that you expect from the room desription and photos. My back is still in pain.

LikedThe hotel was very clean with modern renovation.

DislikedThe receptionists do not even smile. The breakfast was with very poor choise.

LikedOmg, the beds were fantastic! And the location was exceptional, so close to Milano Centrale and close to the BAM for a little walk!
