Ming Yue Lakeview Hotel

LikedThis part of Sun Moon Lake is not where most tourists stay, but i like the quieter environment. The hotel is near the shopping and eating street although there are not many shops like in more touristy places. The room overlooks the lake. There is a walkway by the lake just in front of the hotel, and we saw the sunset from there. There are restaurants nearby serving tribal dishes. The hotel staff were helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was quite nice with healthy vegetables and the bamboo rice was delicious!

DislikedThe room is small, but it has a balcony. There was some singing coming from outside near the pier which went on till quite late at night. People walking along the lake just next to the hotel could make noise too.

LikedBreakfast is very good. Though the room, especially shower, is a little bit small, but the lake view is very good.

DislikedThe floor in the bath room, especially the shower place, is slippery, which could be dangerous for elderly.

LikedGreat location, the lake walkway access is located right in front. The hotel is within very close walking distance to the ferry wharf. Great lake view looking out from room and balcony.
