The best part: the view of Sun Moon Lake from our balcony was great! The not so great parts: It was a little loud with the ferry ramp right below our window on the Sunday (weekend day) we arrived. The room was not so clean; my husband killed a roach scurrying across the floor. The bedspread barely covered the top of the bed which showed the too-small fitted sheets with the bed liner sticking out underneath. The bathtub tiles were cracked in several places and did not look not clean enough to take a bath in, only to shower. We were told, and it was posted in the elevator, that breakfast was from 7:30-9:30 am but when we got there at 7:28 am, the place was packed with people, most of the food was gone, and the staff were slow to replenish the food.
