LikedA calm "minsu" hotel at a walking distance from the Taitung bus station, run by a friendly family; we felt very at ease with them. They gave us good advises for nearby restaurants. Our room was big and comfortable, with windows opening on a calm street. Note that there are also cheaper rooms without external windows, check carefully which one you are booking.
