This is perhaps the best in Taitung but nothing to shout about when compared to equivalent hotels in other cities/towns. So, stay there if you must visit Taitung.

hotel has shuttle service to and from train station, but you have to pre order. Free bike rental, very useful for getting around. We had sea view room, which was quiet and comfortable . Breakfast was ok, and free good coffee the whole day.

LikedThis was a very nice hotel on the periphery of the town - about 30 minutes to walk to the night market. There were bikes available for free to cycle along the coast or do the circuit around town - start at the old station. The room had a great view and the shower and Wifi worked well. Breakfast was good.
