LikedHost was really responsive & friendly. Needed help with printing and she gave me great instructions. Location is within 10mins walk from Taitung train station. It's about 5km from Taitung City, but there's a bus stop (Baseball field) near B&B. There's a 7-11 & family mart within 3mins. Host is bilingual and easy to communicate with. My parents and I enjoyed the chats we had with her. Host also provides a common area with microwave, toaster and hot water dispenser on level 1.
DislikedElderly parents may struggle with stairs climbing and heavy luggage.

DislikedThere could be better ambient lighting in the room. Fluorescent strip lights on the ceiling doesnt make for a cosy experience.

The host Eileen is very friendly and helpful and speaks excellent English. The rooms are very clean, and it's in a good location for exploring Taitung (though there's not much in the immediate area.) Cons: the beds are very hard, as most Taiwanese prefer, but we were provided with a foam pad that made the bed comfortable.
