Elegance Hotel has very strategic location with very nice staff. You can reach any locations easily because this hotel very close to MRT, Bus, and UBike station.

I officially found the worst hotel in Taipei hands down, 1) The rooms look Nothing like the photos 2) the room smelt like someone hosted an cigar convention in it, you can open the windows as much as you want the smell stays 3) you got to give your key in when you leave the hotel to go explore 4) the key is glued to an TV remote 5) with in 10 minutes of check in I had a lady knock on the door asking if I would like an massage. 6) Speaking to the locals in the area the hotel is known for criminal activities At least the check in lady was nice and friendly and the hotel refunded the remainder of my stay minus one day.

Had to book as it's the only 1 available during NYE period with acceptable price. The hotel is a relic of a bygone era something from the 80s. Pros Location is nearby train station Toilet is big with bathtub Friendly staff but limited English Cons Old architecture & furniture Room is cramped Cleanliness can be improved

The plus point of this budget motel is the location is about 80m from a nearby MRT station. Facilities are basic, but sufficient a few night stay. Not for the choosy visitor. It has a small elevator that can fit 3 people at one go. But the biggest problem is there is no heater for this hotel. It happened that during my visit temperature of Taipei was around 11-13 Celcius hence it gets quite cold. Secondly although it was posted on their website breakfast is provided but it is no longer provided (not a big issue though) just hope that the motel update their information. I wish to thank the staff of the morning shift, she is very courteous and informative.
