Hotel Relax III

LikedSmall hotel, but room was a good size. Location was close to main train station and local restaurants and convenience stores. Staff at front desk were very friendly and helpful. Airport transfer arranged for us for a fee.

DislikedHousekeeping not daily but could fill water bottles and ask for clean towels at desk.

LikedModern hotel with friendly and patient staff. Appreciated the provision of a washing machine, dryer, and drinking water dispenser. Convenient location, about 10 min walk to Taipei Main Station and Ximending. There’s a free coffee/tea dispenser at the lobby (but it didn’t taste good).

DislikedMattress was way too soft, I felt like I was sliding off the sides. Bed linen and towels were probably dirty, causing me to develop a rash. The air-con seemed to be a centralised system as the temperature didn’t change even when we used the remote to adjust, thus ended up being too cold at times. Toilet was mouldy and squeezy, could have allocated more space from the main room. Half-height closet tucked in a small corner made it difficult to hang clothes/towels.
