It was a great little hotel, and you got good value for the money. Staff were great, and they helped with locating things. It is in a very nice location with a small market out front. The only problem is that the staits are really steep. Thank goodness the staff helped with luggage. Rooms are really nicely decorated also.

Exactly, what I expected. It’s a great place for sleeping whe. you spend the whole day out. Clean, a bed, and friendly staff. Fantastic location.

Very dirty. No elevator. Location was the only positive thing with this hotel. Even the front desk staff arrived very late, almost 12 noon on the day we checked in. We kept on ringing the doorbell and nobody opened the door. We were standing in the heat. Fortunately, a guest let us in.

The Dongmen hotel boasts an excellent location, situated right outside the Dongmen MRT station and adjacent to the Dongmen market. It's only a short stroll away from Yongkang Street and the first branch of Din Tai Fung, making it incredibly convenient for exploring Taipei. The hotel room itself is spacious and equipped with a drinking water dispenser, along with on-site coin laundry facilities, which is perfect for no-frills travelers. The staff were also very helpful throughout the stay.
