The front desk staff and some of the restaurant staff can be really cold and passively rude. Not sure if it's a city behaviour but it was a turn off for me given than I'm paying top dollar to stay in this hotel. Good location and great spread of food but staff service could be more friendly, less serious and more willing to serve..

Walking distance to mrt. For the price don't expect super cleanliness, some mold spots on the ceiling, probably due to the shower doubling up as a steam room but the steam goes into the bedroom. Toilet is separate to the shower and hot spring.

Realised not all classic twin rooms are the same. Some are bigger and some are much smaller. Had a good experience during my stay in 2016, and booked the same room type again. However, we got a much smaller room this time. We requested for a change of room, luckily the bigger room was available and the staff granted our request. But I think the attitude of front desk could have been more friendly. The standard of breakfast had also dropped as compared to my stay in 2016. Will be good to have a few clothes hook outside the shower room for hanging clothes. The drainage of in room hot spring tub is not good. Water drains very slow.

LikedSpacious room, hot spring tub, friendly staff, free public hot spring room, best breakfast.
DislikedThe loud noise from the drain due to the heavy rain in the early morning of our last stay and stink smell in the room when we were back from breakfast. Our room is 306, luckily it happened on the check out day. I don't know whether this is the reason we got free upgrade, this room has defects.
