ShanYue Hotel staff are decently friendly. The room was decently clean, showerheads are reasonably pressured and is able to switch between cold and hot water well. The toilet is spacious and onsen is decently maintained.

The hotel is located at the strategic location in Beitou. The most tourists visited places are just nearby. The room is a bit dusty when entering. WiFi signal is good. The room is a bit dark due to its use of dark design of wallpaper which we are not used to. We prefer a brighter room. The breakfast food is average. Some staff are not so pleasant, suggesting to greet and smile more. Anyway thanks for hosting us in Beitou.

Considering the price, it was nice all. Especially I like personal hot spring in room.

The in-room hot spring tub was what we came here for. We could have used the free voucher that came with the room to use the outdoor public (naked) hot spring facility, but the private in-room one was so nice! Staff was friendly when I requested additional towels and pillows. Free breakfast was good too but it was the same both mornings; they did not vary the selections. Totally our fault when we got a call saying check-out is at 11 am. We saw online that said check-out at 12.
