Shan-Yue HotSpring Hotel is conveniently located near XinBeitou station. It has own private HotSpring bath in the room which good for people that like to have a quiet and peaceful HotSpring bath privately. it is convenient to take the public bus to Yangmingsan outside the hotel. The breakfast was simple but nice. No complains. Will definitely book this hotel again if visit Beitou

While the hotspring facilities are quite good, the various levels and the rooms are a bit dated. Wish we have two super single beds rather than a single bed. The mattress is a bit springy, wishing it is a hard feel bed. For the price that we pay for a deluxe room, there are only 2 Chinese tea bags and 2 sachets of 3-in-1 coffee.? The big TV is a plus in the room but hardly any cable English news channels:( The breakfast is pretty good with local fare. However, they were not very flexible when we asked to have a take-away breakfast that we paid for for an early morning train we need to take to get to airport, they insisted breakfast only starts at 7:30am:( It is a bit pricey for this hotel given the various feedback above.

It's getting run down and needs some carpeting and wallpaper in the rooms replaced, but the tubs are so nice. I love the Bali design and the public baths are pretty. It's needing some repair, though. I have been there many times and this last time, my last-minute booking got me a great deal but not a nice room. Cigarette smoke coming in through the ventilation, dirty carpet, so noisy I couldn't sleep. I will probably choose to try somewhere else next time. It is not expensive, though, which makes it good value, and the staff are great.
