My friend was going to visit me in Taipei from the States, so I was looking for a nice and clean hotel/ hostel/ airbnb for two girls. Since we only had carry-ons, laundry facilities and location close to the main station were my first priority. To be honest, it took me a couple days to look through all the popular options in taipei which is why i think all the travelling search engines should've added the laundry options in the facilities sections. Then this popped up to me when I looked up on Dcard. Comments such as clean, nice service and free snacks bar are definitely a bonus, but also because they said the crew from the K-TV show "Dad! Where Are We Going?" spent a couple days here! And the final call was the FREE LAUNDRY and no need to pay for the detergent either!! One of the best things when you're back from a long trip is that you're free from doing laundry :)

The room itself looked and smelled clean on arrival. Water, tea, and coffee were refilled every time housekeeping came through. They did miss a few details, such as cleaning the shower area thoroughly, but for the most part, we were happy every time we arrived back from a full day of sigh-seeing. There was a kettle, hair blower, and fridge, which all came in handy. The Japanese toilets were amazing, and we'd book this hotel on that alone! Common facilities were very useful, especially the kitchen and dining area, which provided free coffee from UCC and Milo chocolate drinks. There were different type of crackers during the day, and even instant noodles at night. Hot and cold water was readily available, so don't forget to bring your own bottle containers. They also provided mugs, plates, and utensils, which guests were encouraged to clean after using. We could see that the laundry area was in full use late at night. We could use their umbrellas freely at the entrance when it was raining or too sunny, good thing too as we didn't pack any! Location was very central, just a few minutes' walk to Taipei Main Station, which is a main hub for nearly every line, including high speed rail and the airport line. The hotel is surrounded by stations for the Green and Red line, giving one unfettered access to all of Taipei's main tourist spots. The hotel is within 2-3 minutes' walk of a 7-Eleven, a Family Mart, McDonald's and KFC. Staff were polite, friendly, and helpful, always greeting us on the way in or out of the hotel. They wrote me a birthday greeting card on my departure, which was very thoughtful. They were gracious with helping us book our hotel transfer to the airport and with any other inquiries. In all, we thought our room was good value for money. The hotel, its wonderful staff, and the surrounds provided every need for a week-long stay discovering Taipei. We would definitely recommend first-timers stay there for the convenience and location, and would gladly stay there again.

The facilities had everything. Washing machine , dryers, instant noodles, everything you could want . Except no heater. However you can just ask for a portable heater to be brought up.
