I stayed here with my mum for 3 days. Although it's located far from the train stations, there is a free shuttle service that you can book in advance to bring you to the stations. I'm really particular about cleanliness but both the room and the onsen tub were really clean. The snacks in the room were also so good! The best part was having the choice to use the tub in your room or enjoy the outdoor hotspring. It's really the best of both worlds. Breakfast was also varied and had some different dishes everyday. It was truly an enjoyable stay!

This hotel need to improve from few areas to earn more return guests: Shuttle seats space is limited often can get on and next shuttle schedule has to wait 40 minutes to 1 hour also Shuttle is too old, driver is not helping guests load baggies on and off shuttle Room towels need to replace most of them are worn out

Once you get there it's great. Restaurant is too expensive and not oriented towards children. But you can hike half way down the mountain to go to a convenience store or a ramen haus.

Overall the hotel is pretty nice. Make sure you visit the public bath as well. The room OK. Not sure how to turn off the ceiling lights though. The tell provide shuttle bus to and from train stations. However, you need to sign up prior because seats can fill up fast. Especially around the check out time.
