The hotel maintains excellent cleanliness standards. We requested room service daily, and the staff(aunties) who tended to our room were exceptionally warm and attentive. They ensured our supplies of water, coffee, tea and toiletries were consistently replenished, even providing a new mug for our coffee. However, upon check-in, we encountered an issue with the air conditioning emitting cigarette odors, prompting us to switch off to avoid the smell. I hope that they enforce strict no-smoking policies within the rooms. Despite the minor inconvenience, we were able to enjoy restful night with the very comfortable bed, and our belongings remained secure while we were out exploring the city during the day. Our stay at the Kingshi Hotel was thoroughly enjoyable. Thank you

Room wall has two big cracks, TV only has one channel, remote does not work. Dirty room has roach crawling. No iron to use, when we asked for it, the front desk lady said: "they are all broken, it is not safe to use iron." The clean lady is not friendly.

What really irked me was asking for 1000 NTD for a early check-in. Their check-in time was 3 PM and we checked in at 10.30 AM. Never seen this kind of practice before. No microwave in room. Rooms on 7th floor so beware in case of earthquake which we experienced twice within 30 minutes while sleeping at 2:15 AM

Stayed here twice. First was December 2023 and next was April 2024. This place is the best! Will book again here when we come to Taiwan again.

Smooth check-in. You can leave your baggage before 3pm. The place is a bit old but there is still the feeling of luxury. Very accessible near restaurants, night market, convenience stores, and, just a 10 min walk to the MRT.
