Likedstuff is friendly and helpful
DislikedThe environment of the hotel is smelly (smoking) and there is a karaoke right above the hotel. We didn't have a nice sleep.

Facilities are new though in an old building. Sparsely furnished and small room. Stone throw from train station. Common bathroom /toilets, seniors frequently going to toilet at night would be an issue as it is a distance from the room. The worst part is that the hotel is right below the KTV and noise from it run till wee hours in the morning. No wonder ear plugs are provided. There are better hotel at same price point

LikedHostel, dorm room and beds were all very clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful and accommodating and spoke some English. 24hr reception. Luggage storage before check in and after check out. Free water, tea and coffee. Large enough communal area to sit, chat, play games or eat. Had facilities for heating up food and fridge to keep food. Very nice bathrooms with lots of showers. Towel and toiletries provided. Gender separated for rooms and bathrooms. Located 5 min walk from train station in ASEAN Square mall so feels like being in SE Asia!
DislikedOn Saturday night, can hear a little bit of noise from the discos and KTVs in the building, which could be a problem if you're very sensitive to noise while sleeping but they provide free earplugs. No breakfast offered anymore.

Toilets and showers are always clean. The building is old so the elevators show signs of it but have always worked for the 3d/2n I was there. Staff recommended places for good food.
