LikedIt is the highest hotel in Taiwan! The compound was very huge! Staffs were extremely friendly too! Dinner and breakfast was ok but don’t put high expectations.

LikedStaff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable with everything you could need. The bedroom balcony provided beautiful views over the town and across the valley. Restaurant food was good. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

LikedThe building itself consists of 3 blocks – one for check in, one for rooms, one for restaurant. The architecture is historic (great if you want to know more about the area and CKS), and located in a scenic mountain area. Includes good dinner and decent breakfast.

DislikedThe rooms were dated, and didn't quite match the opulent exterior. Could be tough if you have large rolling luggage, as some rooms are only accessible via stairs.

This heritage property offers a good quality, comfortable stay. I was fortunate enough to have a balcony room on the top floor, so that might have contributed to my good experience. My price included dinner and breakfast, both excellent and complemented by locally sourced foods. Staff was friendly and accommodating, speaking English.
