Stay here for 2nights, overall was good got a free room upgrade as my room isit ready for check in, room overall is alright furniture and tv is abit old. About 8 to 10mins walk to train station, there is bus stop near the hotel which is quite convenient to go a few tourist attractions.

We checked into the hotel after 10 pm on 3 April. Owing to the very heavy traffic, being the eve of Children's Day holiday and followed by Qing Ming long week-end(清明节）holiday, the usual two-hour drive from Taoyuan International Airport to the hotel stretched to 4 hours. Thankfully the checking in process was without fuss. The receptionist was courteous and efficient. He suggested that we might leave our luggage at the counter and go to the nearby 7-11 to have our dinner. AT that time, most all the shops and eateries nearby were closed except for 7-11. We were grateful for the comfortable, cozy and clean room that enabled us a good night rest. We were pleasantly surprised with the full range of toiletries that came in the form of satchels. there were bath gel, shampoo, facial cleanser and body lotion and the usual full set of tooth brushes, combs etc. In the day, the hotel appeared old but not rundown. This is not unusual since it opened business in 2012. The outward appearance of the hotel may not look as impressive as it was depicted in the booking platform, but the hotel is clean with a rather big lobby for guests to rest and wait for the arrival of their transport was a welcome sight. Since we travelled in a chartered car in the day, we were not sure about its location. However, we paid NT320 for a taxi ride from the night market to the hotel. Compared to the bustling night market vicinity, the area around the hotel was akin to a ghost town (maybe I exaggerated). I supposed it was due to the long holiday, starting from 4/4 -7/4 - Thursday to Sunday, most shops were either closed for business for that duration or were closed early in the evening. For one who preferred a quieter place to relax, Park city Hotel is a good choice. The breakfast spread included Taiwanese local food and continental breakfast. Nothing sumptuous or scrumptious but enough to fill the stomachs. On the whole, we were rather satisfied with our stay at Park City Hotel. We wish to thank the staff for a pleasant stay at the hotel.

The staff are lovely and helpful. The breakfast is very good with a wide range of options. Unfortunately the room is quite rundown and the cleanliness is not quite up to standard. The corners of the rooms need cleaning properly. There was black mould in the bathroom and the bed skirt was dirty. I wanted to use the washing machines but the detergent drawer was full of water as was the rim of the washing machine which suggest it is not working as it should and I did not want to wash my clothes mixed with dirty water from previous washes.

The hotel was way better than what we expected. The room was more spacious than mentioned in the booking, there was even a bathtub in the toilet. The staff were very friendly, had some difficulties hailing taxi on the first day and the staff initiated to help us call a taxi. On the last day, we wanted to use the washing machine, but did not know how to operate it, the staff was really nice to help us out with the washing machine while explaining to us how to use it too. However, there is a 10 - 15 mins waking distance from the mrt station to the hotel, but there is a bus stop just 5 mins walk away from the hotel.
