We stayed for 2 nights and we enjoyed it. There were 5 of us on this trip and we stayed at their Family room. We had 3 beds which made it a more comfortable stay as we didn’t have to squeeze ourselves in. The AC works well and have kept the room cool despite being hot outside. We got complimentary tea, water and coffee. They also provide a kettle and fridge which were a plus. Overall, the stay was great and we’d be happy to book again if we are back in Taichung. The only comment I have is the check in time which is 3pm. Though majority of the hotels follows this, I hope they can adjust this earlier for the convenience of travellers arriving early from their flight so they can rest early or probably extend the check out time to atleast 12pm.

Breakfast was decent, coffee was very good. Some of the food didn't agree with my tummy, but may be it was just me. Room is well maintained.

Second time back at this hotel during my second visit in Taichung. Friendly and professional staff, clean hotel, spacious room, convenient location (from Taichung station, bus stops, and local eateries)... Only good things to say about Palmer Hotel!
