The room was great, the bathroom was clean and huge and the size of the room was great for a 5 people family. the location and ambience is also superb! i would come and stay here again!

It was the first 5 star hotel in Taichung 40 years ago, but without renovation, the room I stayed was not updated and was too old for the price. Love the location and service though

Taichung is now carved deep in our hearts! Part of it is because of this wonderfull hotel. My sweetest dreams are now filled with Taichung and my worst nightmare is never comming back to Taichung again! We stayed at this hotel four three nights. Three unforgettable nights! And the hotel was so central even the Sun would be jealous! For a brief shining moment when staying at Hotel National you ARE the center of the universe!

LikedGood location but poor facilities.

DislikedThe cleaning was good but the property itself is way too old. You can even see the bathroom tile is not in its condition. There are more options available at this price.
