Cheaper than most other locations but nice home style stay. No heater though when it is cold

Hotel is on main road, just across the famous Old England Hotel. No elevator is available. We got room with mountain view hoping to see valley and mountains afar, but the view we got is just looking to some mountains with trees very nearby. Lamps on balcony are all turned off at 10 PM, so we can't sit on balcony to enjoy fresh air at night.

Pro - hotel is spacious. - hot and cold water dispenser available at the corridor - free breakfast provided. Con - no lift so it will be a challenge if you have heavy luggage or difficulties in walking or climbing. - one of the queen size bed is too close to the window with curtain.

Staff was extremely warm and helpful in recommending improvements to our itinerary. Parking was also quite convenient - just right opposite the villa. Rooms were decent, although network/cable TV connections were spotty, likely due to the weather when we were there (connection was worse when it rained/was foggy etc.). No daily housekeeping, but this was not a problem for us. Bathroom floor got flooded quite a fair bit due to the design of the bathroom itself, but we simply requested for more floor cloths and managed. Location was also quite convenient - within walking distance of a café/some restaurants, and there is a bus stop in both directions right outside the villa itself. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much, and owe most of it to how warm and friendly the staff was (unfortunately did not get her name, but she seems to be the main IC of the front desk). We decided that if we ever came back to Cingjing as a group, we would stay here again!
