Hotel is located on the slop of Juifen facing the sea and from our room window, we have a beautiful view of the sea. It is also a short walking distance to Juifen old street. For tourists on road trip, beware the access road to the homestay is very windy and narrow, hence very challenging to drive. The homestay provides very simple but tasty breakfast.

Nice homestay to get a night's sleep, but rather cold at night due to constant raining there....if the room is equipped with a heater will be good. Breakfast prepared by the homestay care-taker was very good...she prepared a healthy meal with sandwiches and cereal is very warmly. Many thanks to her who is the only one taking care of us.

We had 40kg luggage and arrived in Juifen via public bus. As the homestay was just right behind Old Street, I thought we could get some help carrying our luggage up the steep hill. We didn't. We had to carry it ourselves, both check in and check out. We tried calling a taxi but taxi company rarely pass by the area. Host could understand a little bit of English, but easily got frustrated when she couldn't understand some words, so we used Google translate. Room was clean. Toilet was tiny but clean.
