New Taipei Hot Spring Hotel

I did not enjoy my stay here. The staff were not professional nor were they friendly. I'm here for a holiday and they did not make my stay pleasant. You'll get special negative treatment if you're not Asian. The hotel has clearly seen better days and it's not doing so well now. Though they appear to be in denial. The Good: The only positive thing is the room is somewhat spacious, but that is balanced by the hotel being at the tail end of the city. Look at the map. It is far out. The Bad: - The room had issues and clearly they did not check it beforehand. Had to wait during check in for them to fix it. - Bathroom vents have fungus and dust in them. - I stayed 5 nights and not once did they change the bed sheets or pillow cases. - You don't get toilet amenities. You have to ask for them. So imagine walking into the bathroom and there's no soap....I had to walk down to the reception and collect it and noticed that they gave the soap to another customer that just checked in whil they did not inform me of the need. - Noisy and hard to sleep in. There's clanking noises all day long if your room is facing the same direction mine did. - Check out is at 11 am. They will kick you out. No allowance at all or care for their customers. Not even one hour extra. - I did not enjoy the Breakfast. Not worth it and I barley attended it.

- Location good for someone who drive. - About 10-15mins walk to MTR. - very noisy when tour group arrives and woke up at morning 7am. - breakfast fair. - bathroom shower heard nearby broke. - Good that mcdonald and family mart/7 eleven nearby.
