The rooms are pretty dated and the furniture worn. I think it deserves a renew. Otherwise the hotel facilities and service were very good. There's a large kids room, sauna, and massaging service. We went on a weekday so the facilities were mostly empty. The pool was freezing though, only try it during summer. The piano lounge cafe had ok food and a great band which we thoroughly enjoyed. Breakfast was mediocre and not really worth a star.

LikedLocation is good, 200m walk uphill to the park entrance. Dinner and breakfast were fair.
DislikedThe bed was uncomfortable. Shower was small. No conditioner. Shampoo and shower gel was one.

LikedClose to nature. The musicians from the Philippines performed at the restaurant and piano bar was a pleasant surprise and the highlight of my stay. Excellent food at the bar.
DislikedRemote. Not convenient for us because we didn’t have a car.
